Travelling from Ashbourne on the Ashbourne to Buxton road (A515) follow the road for about 3 miles.

Take a right turn just before the Bentley Brook Hotel and follow this road (B5056) towards Bakewell for about 3 miles. There is a long straight stretch of road at one point, look out for the sign which says Parwich and Ballidon and turn left. After about 200 yards take a first right at the Ballidon sign. Follow this road for about I mile.

There is a row of houses on the left, but just before you reach those houses take a right turn and follow the lane past a farmhouse on the right and then another on the left. About 50 yards further on take the left turn on the lane and travel up the hill - you will find Rachel's Croft at the end of it!
